Hotel Del Luna is probably one of the most unique K-dramas I've seen. It's about a pretty but greedy CEO, named Jang Man-wol, who runs a hotel made for *wait for it*...ghosts! Each ghost has their own stories to tell. And how did Jang Man-wol end up being a CEO of a ghost hotel anyway? Watch Hotel Del Luna to find out!

3. Vincenzo

Vincenzo Cassano is a lawyer and a consigliere who works for the Italian Mafia. Wait, how in the world did a Korean man end up working for the Mafia?! This show can get a little bit dark at times, but it surprisingly involves a lot of slapstick comedy. If you're up to a chaotic but enjoyable show, then sit back, hang tight, and enjoy this rollercoaster of a show!

4. Start-Up

Think of Silicon Valley...but in Seoul. Start-Up is about the hopes and dreams of young adults and their desire to make it into the tech industry. And, of course, it wouldn't be a K-drama without a little bit of romance!

5. Reply 1988

Reply 1988 is a classic! Definitely one of my top favorite K-dramas of all time. Reply 1988 is about a group of families who live in a small neighborhood in Seoul in the 1980s. The story highlights the respective lives and stories of each family member in the neighborhood and the historical events that took place in '80s South Korea.

6. Because This is My First Life

Also one of my top favorites of all time! Because This is My First Life had a calming effect on me and watching it just made me very happy. This show is about a broke writer who rents out a room from a very frugal, but practical, man. Due to an entanglement, they decide to draw up a marriage contract out of convenience. The romance in this show is quite slow, but I just really loved the simplicity and realistic parts of it (and it's definitely not the marriage contract part)!

7. Nevertheless

Nevertheless is a show that's a little bit more mature compared to the other shows mentioned (by South Korean TV show standards, of course). It's about an innocent college girl who falls in love with a fellow student, who seems well-intentioned at first, but turns out to be a player.

8. Sweet Home

I don't usually like to watch apocalyptic horror series, but Sweet Home kept me at the edge of my seat. Song Kang (from Nevertheless) is headlining this show along with other awesome characters. Sweet Home is about a group of tenants who get stuck at their apartment building while monsters begin to take over their city.

9. Hello, My Twenties!

Hello, My Twenties! is a show I watched a long, long time ago, but it's still a great watch. It's about five young women who are roommates at a share-house. Each person has their own unique story that starts to unfold as you watch the show.

10. And Our Beloved Summer

And lastly...Our Beloved Summer, or should I say MY Beloved Summer because I absolutely loved this show! It's definitely one of my top favorites. It's also one of the most recent ones I watched on Netflix. Our Beloved Summer is about a couple who started dating in high school and broke up later on in college. Years later, they appear in each other's lives again. Will their feelings for each other develop once again? Watch Our Beloved Summer and I promise that you will be delighted by this lovely story and the amazing chemistry between the leads!
