Miss America, Miss USA, And Miss Teen USA Are All Black Women, And I'm All Like "OKAY LADIES, NOW LET'S GET IN FORMATION!"

Meet the three young women who rep North Carolina, New York City, and Connecticut!

So, last night Cheslie Kryst of North Carolina won the 2019 Miss USA competition. I SEE YOU, GIRL!!!

And last Sunday, Kaliegh Garris of Connecticut came out on top at the 2019 Miss Teen USA competition. C'MON, SIS!!!

And last September, Nia Imani of New York took home the 2019 Miss America title. OKAY, QUEEN!!!

This means that, for the first time ever, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss America are ALL Black women.

Cheslie Kryst, JD, MBA is a full-time attorney practicing complex civil litigation at a private law firm. According to MissUSA.com, the 28-year-old also provides free legal services to get reduced sentences for people who may have been sentenced unjustly.

Fellow North Carolina native Nia Imani, 25, earned her Masters in Fine Arts before receiving a prestigious fellowship and moving to New York City to pursue her dreams. The classically trained opera singer has been writing songs since the age of five and is a major advocate of arts in education.

High School student Kaliegh Garris, 18, made headlines for being one of the only Miss Teen USA winners to step on the stage without a straightened hairstyle. When she's not advocating for disabled people with her movement "We Are People 1st," she's performing as a competitive dancer.

Now, I'll be the first to admit that it's a shame this "first" is happening so late in the human civilization game.

But at the same time, I NEVER miss an opportunity to celebrate those of us who're breaking barriers and showing younger generations that they can be whatever they damn well please, regardless of race, beauty pageant queen included.

WELL, THAT'S ALL FOR NOW. CONGRATS, NIA, CHESLIE, AND KALIEGH!!! YOUR COMPASSION AND YOUR TALENTS ARE A GIFT TO US ALL <3
