No love is like the one a dog can give you, a love that will never end no matter what. It may be that you are a lonely person, few friends and no partner. But that ain't true, a dog is an unconditional partner that won't ask anything for return, just your company and affection.

2. Dogs do understand us, when we are sad or angry, happy or worried.

It happens, dogs do understand us. A clear example, when I'm sad, especially when I cry, my Dalmatian, from being a very active and cheerful dog just stands by my side, like a moral and emotional support until I feel better. And so it goes with any emotion. Dogs know how to read us, sometimes I think they are smarter than any of us.

3. No matter how small they are, if someone tries to hurt you they will always have your back.

Once, I was playing football with my friends at a park. One of them took her little Yorkie with her. So, we were playing calmly and when I hit the ball BY ACCIDENT it landed on my friend's face. Her Yorkie was the first to "attack" me, not in a bad way, but just defending it's owner. No matter how small or big a dog is, they will always look after you and protect you. Don't underestimate them.

4. You learn to take a break from work or school, knowing that there is someone who wants to be with you and play with you.

Sometimes we get stuck in the routine: waking up, go to work/school, get back home, sleep. We forget the important things that surround us, family, friends and pets. A pet, especially a dog, will always need affection and attention, whether you give them love or play with them. They find a way to get you out of the routine. You realize that there is someone that is always waiting for you to get home and be with them, you are their WHOLE world.

5. They are important members of the family, sometimes even more important than your own brother.

Having a dog is basically having another brother or kid in the house. They have a space on the couch, on the dinning room, even sometimes on your own bed. They will even become an important part of the family festivities, especially on Halloween and Christmas. We all love cute dogs that dress on Halloween!

When my dogs got home, my mom didn't like them at all, she wanted them gone. In fact, she didn't talk to us for FIVE days because of how mad she was. That was three years ago. Now, she is the one that likes to take care of them, takes them for a walk, bathes them, and when they get sick that lady won't stop until they feel well. That's what dogs do, they earn your affection and melt your heart, eventhough you refuse.

9. There are some people that just don't deserve dogs.

Dogs are the cutest most pure thing on earth. Their only purpose in life is to give us love and protect us. They are like angels on earth, making our life a little bit better. Even though most persons know that, there are just some persons that don't realize it and don't appreciate them as much as they deserve. Whether they don't take them out for a walk never or they just treat them wrong. Having a dog comes with lots of responsabilities, you can't just have a dog because of the fun and cuteness.
