That wasn’t exactly “personality quiz”, it was more of a “Would you have survived” quiz. Based on the answers you provided, you got either “Perpetrator”, “Bystander”, or “Victim”. The questions were based on many of the different things that could result in your death in Pol Pot’s Cambodia in the 70s’. During his reign of terror, Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge were responsible for the death of between 1.7-2 million. If you received the result “Victim”, you more than likely gave an answer that would have placed you on the Khmer Rouge’s kill list.
Although the Khmer Rouge is no longer in power, Cambodia is still in recovery. Sadly, Cambodia isn’t the only example of genocide. While not everyone can actively work to prevent future instances of genocide, we can all learn more and get involved in our own ways.
