While watching the To All The Boys... movies, I found myself hearing certain Taylor Swift songs to match the moments. This is my list of a few of the songs that I think belong in the To All The Boys... movies.

Why it fits: From Taylor's album, Fearless, this song fits so well with the driving force of the film, Lara Jean's letter writing! "Hey Stephen" would be the perfect background song for a montage of Lara Jean writing her letters. Lyrics: "Hey Stephen, I've been holding back this feeling so I've got some things to say to you. I've seen it all, so I thought, but I never seen nobody shine the way you do."

Gold Rush

Why it fits: This song from Evermore is the one that sparked my idea for this article. This fits well with the second film, when Lara Jean is lamenting about how it's hard to be Peter Kavinsky's girlfriend, on account of his popularity. Lyrics: "Cause I don't like a gold rush, gold rush...I don't like that anyone would die to feel your touch, everybody wants you, everybody wonders what it would be like to love you."

I'm Only Me When I'm With You

Why it fits: This underrated bop from Taylor's first album describes the Song-Covey girls to a T (see what I did there?) They have the sweetest relationship where they unconditionally love and accept each other. Lyrics: "And I know everything about you, I don't want to live without you... Well you drive me crazy half the time, the other half I'm only trying to let you know that what I feel is true. And I'm only me when I'm with you."

You Are In Love

Why it fits: This1989 bonus track is an amazing background track for Peter and LJ's romance. It could truly be inserted into any of their romantic moments. Lyrics: "You can hear it in the silence, you can feel it on the way home, you can see it with the lights out. You are in love, true love."

Why it fits: This song would 100% be Chris and Trevor's song. Their relationship is complicated and Chris doesn't like to label things, but you can tell they care a lot about each other and and just get one another. Lyrics: "I want to wear his initial on a chain round my neck, not because he owns me, but cause he really knows me."

Love Story (Taylor's Version)

Why it fits: This one would actually not be for Peter and LJ, but Trina and Dan! Imagine how sweet this song would be during their proposal/wedding! Lyrics: "It's a love story, baby, just say yes."

Why it fits: I mean, do I even need to explain this one? "Our Song" is LITERALLY Peter and LJ! It's about a couple not having a "song", but finding meaning in life events that make up their "song". Lyrics: "He says, 'Our song is the slamming screen door, sneaking out late tapping on your window.'"

Marjorie

Why it fits: I feel like "Marjorie" fits to the scene where Lara Jean wishes her mom were around to teach her Korean and the way all the Song-Covey girls still feel connected to Eve. Lyrics: "I should've asked you questions, I should've asked you how to be, asked you to write it down for me."

Why it fits: You can't convince me that this song doesn't have Lara Jean and Peter energy. It would probably occur in the second movie when the couple is fighting about the treehouse party, but stay stay stay together Lyrics: "You took the time to memorize me, my fears, my hopes, and dreams. I just like hanging out with you all the time. All those times that you didn't leave, it's been occurring to me I'd like to hang out with you, for my whole life."

Invisible String

Why it fits: This is THE song to describe the journey from Lara Jean and Peter's meet-cute to their present love. It's honestly tragic that it wasn't "their song" Lyrics: "Time, curious time, give me no compasses, give me no signs. Were there clues I didn't see?
