From the outside, the 2017 RDX is more sleek and intelligent than ever before. High-strength steel has been incorporated within the construction of the body that enables for an increase in the strength and stability in the body while reducing the weight, amplifying the dynamic performance. The RDX has a 4-wheel independent suspension with a MacPherson strut design at the front and a multi-link design at the back.

Another factor that contributes to its sporty performance is its inclusion of Amplitude Reactive Dampers and a motion electronic power steering system.

The 2017 RDX is no stranger to speed. Equipped with a 3.50liter SOHC i-VTEC V-6 engine, the RDX produces 279 horsepower and 252-lb-fit of torque. Immediate and powerful acceleration is a great characteristic of what's under the hood in the RDX.

The Variable Cylinder Management deactivation system included as well allows for deactivation of three of the engine's six cylinders when necessary and assist with an efficient fuel economy, providing *19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway for AWD models and *20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway for FWD models.

The inside of the cabin presents much to please the driver and passengers. Standard luxury features, including heated front seats, a power tailgate, Multi-View Rearview Camera and second-row air conditioning vents are all available. The Technology Package comes with an eight-way power-operated front passenger seat, dual-screen On-Demand Multi-Information Display from Acura (ODMD), HD Radio, Rear Cross Traffic Monitor, blind spot information and Multi-View rearview camera with dynamic guidelines.

The Advance Package features front fog lights, remote engine start, front and rear parking sensors, ventilated front seats and an auto-dimming driver's side mirror, along with the standard AcuraWatch™ safety and driver-assistive technologies.
