Thrift stores/charity shops are not scary! People often give away things that are brand new and never been used. You might just find some amazing (and less expensive) gifts for the people in your life.
If someone you know is a collector of certain items, Antique stores might have just the thing.

If you don't already possess some crafty skills, you could always learn. Your Slytherin friend might love a green/grey scarf knitted by you 🐍 Your cousin could treasure a cute cat cushion (with ears and a tail) you sewed together 😺 Or you could embroider a purse for your cottagecore obsessed mum! It's the extra thought that makes it, even if the end result isn't perfect.

Crafting/making!

I know quirky lamps, ring holders and side tables you've made yourself don't quite scream "holiday gift", but think about it. It's memorable, environmentally friendly to repurpose furniture, and just so...you! They'll love it!

Upcycling/DIY
