1. Hilarious meme
The amount of people that indulge themselves in this sensationalism have become so enormous that the term "clickbait" gradually evolved to become a meme (and a pretty dead one too). So here it is, meme #1. Not exactly what you bargained for, but not completely false either. I'm sure most of you have heard about this term, or at least understand the concept behind it. If not, then you must be actively avoiding any sort of social media, and I applaud you for your intensive effort (then why are you on Buzzfeed?).
You can't blame me for using clickbait, since a large portion of posts on this website is exactly that. Social media, or the media in general is full of false information and misleading titles, where the author themselves don't even know what they're talking about and attempt to sound smart. They think that their audience will drink up anything that they say as long as they give a statistic or a seemingly believable 'fact'. So taking that into consideration, it's best for everyone to first assess the credibility of news sources before you take it as gospel. I'm looking at you Wall Street Journal. ヽ(・ ˒̫̮・)ノ
