Whether you bake 'em or fry 'em, there's nothing in this world that's more satisfying than warm empanadas.
For those of you who don't know, empanadas are stuffed pastries filled with a variety of savory foods like ground beef, chicken, pork, cheese, vegetables, or pretty much anything else you can think of.
While empanadas are most often associated with Argentina, almost every country in Latin America has their own version, AND THEY ARE TRULY SPECTACULAR.
When they're fresh out of the frying pan/oven, the smell is enough to give your taste buds a million orgasms.
The hot and crunchy outside complements the soft and tender inside. One bite and you'll be like, "OMAIGAH, I'M IN HEAVEN!"
Which is not surprising because God actually invented empanadas.
It's truly a dish that will forever be near and dear to our hearts.
The snap, crackle, pop sound they make when they come out of the fryer is music to the ears of culinary enthusiasts.
Sometimes, you'll bite into one and you'll want to cry tears of joy.
When you bite into ground beef empanadas, the meat MELTS on your tongue, the flavor too good for your taste buds to handle.
These chorizo and cheese empanadas will ruin food for you. Seriously, they'll be SO GOOD that no food will ever be able to compete with this holy goodness.
