Popular games from when I was growing up

1. Halo 2

A game where you get to kill aliens, steal their vehicles and use sticky bombs. Not only was it multi player, but it really out shined the tall task of making a game better than the first Halo. The game even had a map creator and not just one tank, but two. My favorite thing to do was to hit the evaluator button before my brother could jump on or throw sticky grenades on him.

2. Super Mario Bros.

Even if you aren't a gamer you probably have played this game. This franchise still manages to come up with fresh new ideas and many more great games to this day.

3. Sonic The Hedgehog

" gotta go fast" 🎶 The Sega icon that is Sonic. Anyone who has played this can tell you that the drowning music is forever stuck in their head. You play as a super-fast blue hedgehog who collects rings and must stop egg man/Dr. Robotnik

4. Little big Planet 🌏

This adorable sackboy goes through unique handcrafted levels, where you can play with friends and unlock fun outfits. All the characters and dialog are truly fun and interesting.

5. Webkinz

A cute computer game where you took care of your pets and decorated their home. You could play also play mini games and take them to school.

6. Club Penguin

You could play as penguins and chat online with other players. There was sledding and even an actual club. All I can say is people were weird and went on dates and thought penguins were hot

7. Smash Bros

You probably already know that this is a widely popular fighting game.

8. Batman Arkham Asylum

Hard to believe this game is over ten years old. Play as batman locked in a asylum controlled by the Joker. You would solve puzzles and fight thugs with one of the best fighting mechanics ever put in a video game.

9. Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe

A brutal fighting game know for it's violence and gory fatalities vs DC know for heroes that can't kill, It shouldn't have worked , but it did and it was awesome.

10. Mario kart

Race your friends as your favorite Mario characters, just remember to watch out for shells and banana peels. Anyone else miss having two players on one kart and being able to punch?

11. Barbie Rapunzel

This game would let you redesign the whole castle and decorate cakes. Then you had the maze at the end you had to solve to defeat the evil queen

12. Dance Dance Revolution

Break out the dance mat and go crazy trying to keep up with the arrows. who can forget songs like love shine and that monkey made a monkey out of me

13. Tetris

Who knew stacking odd shapes would be so fun. Also, that fantastic music that played in the background

14. Kirby Dream land

Before Kirby was even pink this adventure game made us fall in love with the little round fella. Suck up enemies and fight a tree as you go on your way to fight King Dede

15. Disney Extreme Skate Adventure

Skate around different Disney movie levels while playing as your favorite characters or as some random kid. The soundtrack alone could easy get someone to want to play it. The two things I remember is delivery McDonald's and the overly hard Tarzan levels.

16. Puppeteer

A darker tone game that plays similar to Little big planet. Your character can use scissors ✂ and has to fight some tough bosses while trying to stay alive. oh, did I mention that you're a human with your soul stuck in a puppet who can swap out his head. "Yup totally kid friendly"

17. Animal Crossing New Leaf

The game that got many people into Animal Crossing. Become the mayor and have Isabell help you for the first time. "I totally didn't play this instead of doing my math homework "

18. Shrek 2

You've probably never played it , but you should. It's a Co op game which allows you to play as a lot of different characters each with their own special moves. Do you really need more reasons to play besides you can be Ginny or the wolf, how about stealing jewels and throwing chickens

19. Spider-Man 2

Easily better than the first game. Spider man two got rid of running out of webs and added fun new moves to learn while still giving players a challenge. Don't lie I know you died trying to defeat Doc ock. Who else loved making the thugs hang upside down on the light post?

20. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

🎶Watch out for Shredder🎶 A four player fighting game were you needed to hack and slash Foot Ninjas and Mousers. The game was base on the TV show and would go on to spawn more games.
