Tips To Asking Someone To A Dance

Every year asking someone to a dance needs to be more and more creative. Here are some tips on how to make your date feel extra special. The overall theme of this is to make it personal.

1. Food

Find out what your dates favorite food is. Who doesn't like free food and a date to a dance? You can get them a meal and drop it off at their house or work with a nice note on it asking them to the dance.

2. Candy

A great idea is to write a poem or riddle of some sort and put it on a poster board with candy references in certain parts of the poem. Then you actually put the physical candy on the board.

3. Public or Private?

You should really know who your date is and their personality. Some people don't like to be in the public eye and if they don't, know not to ask them in front of the whole school, or at a sports game of some sort. If they like to be the center of attention, then it's ok to do it at an assembly or in some place with a lot of people.

4. Sing a song

Now this one is a very unique way to ask a girl. This shows you put in a lot of time and this dance means a lot to you. Once again know if she wants to be serenaded in public or alone because you don't want her to get uncomfortable in the setting she's in.
