A film in which Walter Neff, a car insurance salesman who is fooled by an attractive woman, Phyllis. The two scheme and perform the murder of her husband, but not without facing the consequences of their actions. With Walter's boss hot on their tails they have to keep up the deception and guilt to avoid getting caught.

Double Indemnity

A noir film containing strong violence. This thriller takes place in a small town in North Carolina, where Jeffrey Beaumont stumbles upon a severed ear in a field while walking home. This catapults him into danger as he develops a curiosity and yearning to solve the mystery, which the police seem all too disinterested in. He crosses paths with a psychopath and tries to help Dorothy Vallens, but reveals his own dark side in the process.

Blue Velvet

A film consisting of a San Francisco detective, Sam Spade, who is accused of killing his partner that was trailing a man named Floyd Thursby. He becomes surrounded by police who want information from him, a lying woman who uses him for protection, and three criminals looking for an expensive falcon statuette.

The Maltese Falcon

A noir film where private detective Jake Gittes gets caught in a web of lies. He comes across murder, incest, and corruption, uncovering the shocking secrets between the Mulwrays and the Cross's. Which is all connected to the precious water supply of the city.
