You are concerned with issues of diversity and representation in the library world, and therefore you belong in the Ethnic and Multicultural Information Exchange Round Table (EMIERT). This group looks into issues of ethnicity in librarianship and the problems of ensuring access to and development of ethnic collections, services, and programs.

Detail-oriented and organized, you’d do well in the Exhibits Round Table, which combines library workers and conference exhibitors to set standards for the exhibit hall. ERT sets standards for booth rental, space assignment, exhibit hours, and the information provided to exhibitors to help them create effective and efficient displays. ERT also acts as an intermediary between exhibitors and ALA.

The Government Documents Round Table serves this community, working on issues like availability, usability, bibliographic control, and communication with the larger library community.
