But what exactly do we mean by "banned books?" A banned book is one that has been banned or challenged by a government, school, or other organization. It's basically a form of censorship in one way or another. You can find a list of frequently challenged or banned books here.

Perhaps the Harry Potter series is your fave of all time and you're more than slightly offended anyone would ban them.
