The witch is back!
On Thursday (Sept. 13), Netflix released the first look at Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a new show that tells the story of Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka), a half-witch half-mortal teenage girl who must choose between the path of light and the path of darkness in a coming of age tale.
Based on the minute long clip, viewers can tell that the new iteration of the teenage witch will certainly differ from the 1990's sitcom that starred Melissa Joan Hart and featured a more upbeat and comical nature as they are gifted to scenes of the title character celebrating her 16th birthday while a haunting and eerie rendition of "Happy Birthday" plays in the background among other scenes of Sabrina in both the mortal world and its more wicked counterpart.
In addition to Shipka, the cast also includes Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis and Ross Lynch and will premiere on October 26th, just in time for a Halloween binge watch.
