Without much backstory about the game, they were paired with an opponent and thrown into battle.
It took them a while to get the hang of the controls...
... but they quickly caught on, and in no time were kicking some SERIOUS ass.
A few of the seniors even got a wee bit competitive.
Others got a little carried away and forgot they actually had to fight each other.
And some seniors were there just to have fun.
Despite Mortal Kombat being ridiculously violent, they all still had a hella great time causing a virtual ruckus.
