9. Browse the Brooklyn Flea! Easily one of the best flea markets in the city! Check out the Hell’s Kitchen or Chelsea flea market for a more local option!
10. Have a favorite talk show? Try and be apart of the studio audience! Late night and morning shows like Trevor Noah, Jimmy Kimmel, SNL, Wendy Williams and The View have free tickets!
11. Go to the MET! Technically it’s pay as you wish, so a penny will suffice ;)
12. Need to escape from the city’s hussle and bussle? Check out the Brooklyn Botanical Garden it’s free on Friday’s before noon.
13. The Bryant Park film festival is a blast! Watch classic movies under the stars! Also, it's a perfect date for those of us on a budget!
14. If you want to see some cute animals checkout out the Bronx Zoo! They have suggested donations on Wednesday!
15. Try Chelsea art galleries, to see some cool and young art! Many of the galleries are in one area so you don’t have to do a ton of walking!

17. Check out some cool parades in the city! Show your solidarity and support at the NYC Pride Parade! Learn about Puerto Rican culture at the Puerto Rico Day Parade.
