Boots put their Summer advertisement on the telly. A viewer was eagle eared and heard a song - a Christmas song was being parodied by Boots and they changed it 's lyrics to lyrics about the Summer.
What was the original Christmas song called?
The original Christmas song that was parodied is called I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday by Wizzard.
Is this the first time that a company parodied a singer's music?
No it's not. This COULD be the first Christmas song to be parodied by a company but not the first time a song has been parodied by the UK's companies. Muller used Ice Ice Baby and turned it into Rice Rice Baby.
