Paris Hilton responded to "conspiracy theories" after she posted an Instagram photo with Britney Spears.
This weekend, Paris marked her friend (and Britney's longtime agent) Cade Hudson's birthday with a series of images.
One of the pictures, with Britney in the middle, elicited a series of comments claiming that she was digitally edited into the photo.
This comes amid a new wave of online concerns about the singer, with some TikToks even going as far as to claim that a body double has been used in recent images and videos. Indeed, #WhereIsBritney currently has 119.7 million views on the app.
Although she did not reference the comments by name, Paris posted a follow-up saying, "To all those asking. Some of these photos were taken on an iPhone so they ended up being blurry."
"So, they used this app called Remini to make it look unblurry, and sometimes, the AI distorts images. Didn't want to even dignify this with a response. But some of these conspiracy theories are absolutely ridiculous," she concluded.
Paris has been a longtime supporter of #FreeBritney. After Britney's wedding last summer, Paris told E!, "She's one of the kindest people in the world and is such an angel. She is not like any of the people in this town. She means a lot to me."
