A third woman has come forward to accuse Sex and the City star Chris Noth of sexual assault.
Earlier this week, the Hollywood Reporter reported that two women had separately come forward with sexual assault allegations against Noth dating back to 2004 and 2015.
Now, in the wake of the Hollywood Reporter article, a third woman spoke to the Daily Beast about an alleged assault in 2010 that occurred when she was 18 years old and working as a hostess and lounge singer in a Manhattan restaurant.
The woman, whose name has been changed to "Ava" for anonymity, said that Noth came to the restaurant multiple times while intoxicated. Speaking to her at his table one evening, he allegedly groped her and kept "pressing me onto his erection."
Then, at the end of her shift, Ava went to her manager's office to collect her wages. She then said that when she got her envelope of cash, the lights turned off behind her, and Noth was there. “He acted as if we had intentionally snuck off together clandestinely,” she explained.
"At first, it felt as though I was the only person in the universe who could hear me saying no," she continued. He then began to digitally penetrate her, but felt her tampon. "I was so hopeful that would be the end of it."
However, Ava said that Noth continued to grope her and asked whether or not she was at the end of her period. She said that her "limbs hurt in the morning" from trying to push him away.
"He wasn’t hearing ‘no,’ but he heard me when I said ‘not here’ and convinced him that I would meet him somewhere else," Ava continued, giving her the opportunity to escape. Noth then reportedly texted her once he got home to send a car to pick her up, but she never responded.
When asked for comment, Noth's publicist said that he "denies this as ever happening and has no idea who this woman is."
