Snoop Dogg Mispronounced A Bunch Of Names While Announcing The Golden Globe Nominations: "Work With Me Now"

"Been Aff-fleck. Ben Affleck, my fault. Sorry bout that Ben."

Whoever had Snoop Dogg announce the Golden Globe nominations this morning deserves an award of their own.

The 50-year-old read off names in a manner that can only be described as "high performance art" (yes, pun intended), mispronouncing names like Ben Affleck and Denis Villeneuve.

The Dune director's name became Denis Villenueva, but it was the pronunciation of Ben's name as "Been Aff-fleck" that really took the cake.

.@SnoopDogg’s dramatic reading of Kenneth Branagh and Been Affleck should get a Golden Globe nomination. Consider this my write-in ballot.

"Been Aff-fleck. Ben Affleck, my fault. Sorry bout that Ben," the rapper said with a light chuckle.

The multi-hyphenate also struggled to pronounce Belfast star Ciarán Hinds, first calling him "Karan Hinds" and later settling on "Karen Hinds."

The hilarious mispronunciations quickly became Twitter fodder for equally hilarious reactions and memes.

The Golden Globes just brought on Snoop Dogg to announce this morning's nominations.... I can't. Camp!

Losing my mind over Snoop Dogg mispronouncing nearly every name on the list, but only stopping to apologize to Ben Affleck.

Snoop Dogg painstakingly mispronouncing the name of every nominee at the #GoldenGlobes, even Ben Affleck, is verging on performance art

Sorry, the Golden Globes barely exist this year, but Snoop Dogg reading the nominations is pure comedy. Dennis Villenueva is my new favorite director.

According to Variety, the awards show — which has been mired in controversy following a lack of diversity in nominations last year — hoped to get a movie or TV star to announce nominations, but landed on Snoop, who's supposedly a "friend" to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Regardless, it looks like both Snoop and the Golden Globes were happy to collaborate. I know I am!

Thanks to @SnoopDogg for helping us announce the 79th annual #GoldenGlobes nominations!
