A federal investigation of bribery in the NCAA league leads to an unpaid leave of the University of Louisville’s basketball coach Rick Pitino. Unfortunately, positivity is not in the air for this well-known baller. This leave of absence is leaving a lot of distress to my boys out there who play on the team.
The feds are basically thinking coaches in the NCAA have been part of a setup to pay out players who commit to their non-fantasy league team. Even though it would be way cooler to be on your own video game, apparently players were simply accepting the dough to put in their bank accounts. It has not been officially announced that Pitino is directly involved, although his multiple titles make him a prime suspect. Further investigation will be held of this legendary man.
The best part about this case is Pitino’s history with a solid scandal. In August of 2009, the man told the police about his relations with a shawty who was trying to get with him. He even told them about how he paid for her abortion… didn’t see that one coming. I guess you do what you must to keep the fans happy. He also had involvement in the case of his players attending parties with a few paid dancers. But hey, we all love a good show as long as everyone stays respectful.
