Well, maybe you have, but there’s a chance you haven’t.

    1. Go hunting.

Most people in the Midwest await the Fall simply for this reason. There are different types of hunting to try during the season that range from birds to deer!

    2. Drink coffee.

Definitely take the time to drink a lot of coffee and enjoy the warmth during these chilly days. There’s nothing better than walking to class or going to work with a thermos full of coffee.

    3. Shop for Christmas.

Black Friday is an obvious must. This is definitely a time to plan ahead and start shopping for the next season.

    4. Bake desserts.

Start trying out any and every recipe you find on Facebook for Thanksgiving desserts. It’s always nice to be complimented by your family on your baking skills.

    5. Start a fire.

Start a (legal) fire literally anywhere. Whether it is lighting a candle in your room with a sweet pumpkin spice smell, or hosting a bonfire outside. Just start a fire.

    6. Visit an apple orchard.

Instead of going to a pumpkin patch like every other basic person in America, find a local apple orchard. It’s just as cute but different enough where people will respect you. Also, they have the BEST apples, with or without caramel.

    7. Go in a corn maze.

These are not very hard to find. There are sometimes haunted corn mazes around with are always fun to take part in.

    8. Help your local farmer with harvest.

If you are bored, I’m sure a farmer could keep you busy with chores for harvest season. He might even pay you.

    9. Drive through the country.

There’s nothing more beautiful than the fall colors on the countryside. Take a joyride through the country and see the yellows, reds and oranges.

    10. Wear ripped jeans.

This is really the only acceptable time for ripped jeans, so make the most of it.

    11. Be thankful.

Fall is a season to give thanks. Take a moment to reflect on your life and truly be thankful for all you have.
