King Kylie Come Ups!
Lippies and shadows and dupes? No lie!
I guess we’ll be “Keeping Up” forever you guys. As you may have heard and perhaps purchased yourself, Kylie Jenner’s new cosmetic line has been so successful. I mean, we honestly didn’t expect anything less if we’re being serious. But there has been some controversy lately in regards to her latest products she’s been releasing and their quality. Shocker, right?
Just this past week Kylie released her newest eyeshadow palette titled The Royal Peach Palette. It is all kinds of peachy but some complain about it being anything close to royal. Complaints of pigmentation and harsh application were the main issues. Unfortunately, with so many similar makeup palettes available, there's a certain expectation held for Kylie’s product for sure. The same thing goes for The KoKo Kollection, courtesy of a collaboration between sisters Khloe and Kylie. Being that “Khlo Money” is the queen of a perfect pout, we really didn’t think her signature collection was going to fall too far behind.
Reviews on The KoKo Kollection were actually bomb until it came to the liquid lipstick titled Gorg, which was said to have a tough application and a dry formula. “There would never be a time when a Kardashian or Jenner releases something and there isn’t controversy or hate,” said no one ever. Duh! We're completely on your side King Kylie. We totally expect these negative vibes but if it is true, all hail the YouTube makeup queens that are able to get everybody who wants to keep up with Kylie, caught up! A bunch of dupes are listed below that include very similar shades in The Royal Peach Palette and The KoKo Kollection for all those fake-it-til-you-make-it gals.
