CollegeHumor is fun and all, but if you’re looking for a new sketch comedy channel to get to behind, Chris and Jack is definitely worth your time. Their sketches have such smart concepts, and their hilarious on-screen chemistry is the icing on the cake. They really deserve more internet fame than 71,000 subscribers.

2. Winshard - 163K subscribers

If you’re a fan of animator-youtubers like Jaiden Animations and Domics, you’ll definitely enjoy Winshard’s channel. Her drawing style is just so dang adorable.

She’s a bit of a newbie - she only started posting videos last summer - but she’s a talented artist, and her dorky, shy personality is incredibly endearing.

If you were on Facebook sometime in the last month, you've probably heard the words of wisdom from Sailor J's Contouring 101 video. "If you have too big of a brain," she says, with the sophistication of a 17th century duchess, "it means you have ugly things like opinions and thoughts of your own!" Her make-up/husband-trapping tutorials are essential for the modern woman.

4. Savannah Brown - 474K subscribers

For all the aspiring writers out there, Savannah (goes by Sav) Brown is definitely someone to check out. At 21, she has a publishing deal in the works and is currently writing her first YA novel. In the past, her channel has consisted of spoken-word pieces, but more recently, she’s started a new series, “Write With Me,” which she describes as a “productivity” live-stream. Viewers tune in to chat with Sav, and write in 10-20 minute intervals. It’s a great place to turn to when your motivation is particularly low. You’ll be surprised how fast those hour-long streams fly by, and how much work can be accomplished in those short bursts of writing.

5. Threadbanger / Man vs Pin - 3.8M subscribers

It's safe to say, with ten years of videos and 3 million subscribers under their belt, Threadbanger has graduated from obscurity of being just Youtube famous. Still, they deserve an honorable mention on this list. Four years ago, creators Rob Czar and Corinne Leigh started a series called "Man VS Pin," where Rob, your average guy who loves cursing, took on the internet's most daunting Pinterest projects. From there, the channel exploded - branching into several spinoffs: "Man VS Din" (as in dinner), "Corinne VS Pin," "Corinne VS Cooking," and some healthy husband and wife competition on "Man VS Corinne VS Pin."

Even now, "Man VS Pin" still maintains that "film-it-yourself" feel that other Youtube celebrities have lost (of course, it is a DIY channel). The video quality has certainly improved, but Rob and Corinne are a two person production-team. Their channel still feels very authentic, just two hilarious people filming their wacky shenanigans.
