5 PLACES TO MUNCH AT UNDER RS1000 IN MUMBAI !

What if i said you could eat tasty food by just giving few hundreds? YES! Absolutely. Be it a date (which usually turns expensive because of cute decor) or family lunch or friendly meet ups, these places are pocket friendly (as compared to others) and won't burn a hole in pocket this summer season!

1. VERSOVA SOCIAL, MUMBAI

Omg, this place is so cute! That was my first reaction. The building is itself unique with lovely outdoor seating (perfect for romance). If you inn for an early morning start you should try their morning trays (6 types), priced between 280-350rs. These trays offer a variety of items to suit your taste buds! If you're a 1pm person who prefers to skip breakfast you must try 3 of my favourite items on their menu! The Chooza 69 (rs220) is the perfect starter for any nonveg lover followed by Spicy Social Spagetti AOP ( both in veg & nonveg) at Rs230 and ending it with a musttttttttttttttt have Chocolate Blood Bath ( rs170), this dessert is heaven!!!!

2. TGIF, R CITY MALL MUMBAI

TGIF is back with its Rs 199 lunch menu (drumroll :P)! Though it is only a 2 course meal it is an absolute value for money with pub like ambiance. From soups to dessert this cost saver lunch has it all. The Hoey Mustard Potato Wedges are yummy, meat lovers can go for Jalapeno Parmesan Chicken Balls! My favourite entree is the New York Hot Pepper Chicken or Garden Spagetti Vegetali. you can even add an extra course for just rs100. Oops! Did i mention there is unlimited soft drinks? Yes Yes Yes.

3. CHINA GATE, ANDHERI WEST

Who loves chinese? i guess most of us do. This chinese buffet is an absolute treat for all you foodies at Rs 525( price may vary according to the outlet). They give quite a few items in their starter & main course at such a reasonable price. Must try their Prawns Tempura! The dessert counter is such a treat! The ambience will make you go crazy, especially the bar counter.

4. SIGREE GLOBAL GRILL, POWAI

You just never get over this place! Their ambiance is lit and so is their food. They offer a wide range of soups, salads & breads ( its better if you only taste these and save some space for starters). The live grill is delicious especially for non-veg lovers, followed by mains also starring pasta station. No meal is complete without a dessert so save room for it ( its going to be difficult because all of it is so yum) :P! All this just Rs 635 onwards ( depending on the day & type). Highly recommended for buffet lovers!!!

5. MAINLAND CHINA, MUMBAI

Another must have chinese buffet starting Rs 625 onwards ( depending on the day & type). A variety of starters ( teriyaki potatoes and dim sums are must have) though the main course is predictable with rice, noodles and manchurian (indo-chinese) it tastes just as good as last time. Mousse, cake, custard & fruit , yes you can eat it all. Don't forget to try their Honey noodles with vanilla ice-cream you just can't get over it.
