Why Life Sentence Deserved A 2nd Season

The CW show staring Lucy Hale which aired it's last episode in june, deserved a 2nd season, & here are some of the reasons why.

1- it showed first hand that it takes time to figure out who you want to be & what you want to do with your life, and it did it in a positive realistic way.

2- It was a show about family

It showed the bad & good side of family, the show focused on the relationship between the abbotts, and what families are willing to sacrifice for each other, it's rare to find a show nowadays that focuses on family, & life sentence did it beautifully.

3- It managed to mix drama & comedy perfectly

When you're watching this you'll feel like crying one second & then 5 seconds later you'll find yourself laughing at Aiden's one liners, it was the perfect dramedy if there ever was one.

4- The relationship between Diego & Lizzie

These two showed us how a healthy marriage between two equals can be, it didn't need endless drama for it to be entertaining which is rare in tv, they were great parents, & even a better couple they supported each other throughout the show, and a 2nd season would've showed us more of them as parents & as a couple.

5- Lucy Hale

Life sentence showed us a different side of Lucy, it gave her a chance to show us another side of her, she mixed drama with comedy perfectly, & she flourished as the show's lead, the show even managed to make us love her even more.

6- Wes & Stella

One of my favorite parts about the show was Wes & Stella, they represented a healthy interracial relationship, the show showed us their ups & downs, & if the show got a 2nd season we would have seen them together again & stronger than ever.

7- It was different

The CW lineup is filled with dc superhero shows, life sentence was a breath of fresh air, it didn't have one single supernatural element it was about ordinary people with real problems which we can all relate to & i think the CW should've given it another chance.
