It has some amazing, well developed female characters who are given the chance to be strong, venerable and extremely extraordinary. We have first have Olivia a biracial former addict who's recovery has never been sidelined, she's kind, sassy and extremely amazing you'll find yourself falling in love with her the second you see her in the pilot. Then we have Leila who's been through so much and is still absolutely caring and kind, and these are just the main 2 females.

This show has variety of ships, honestly you won't know who to ship.  First you have Spencer and Lelia who the show teases us about from the very first episode, then we've got Olivia and Asher the unexpected paring who might remind you of certain one tree hill couple (cough naley) they have all the slow-burn, angst you could ask for, trust me Olivia and Asher will have you hooked.
