Swansea International Jazz Festival

The Swansea International Jazz Festival is the biggest jazz festival in Wales, and runs between the 15th and 18th June 2017. The festival features a total of 56 different events across 16 venues in the Swansea Maritime Quarter. There will be a chance to see musicians and bands coming to Swansea from USA and Europe along with many of the best British Jazz ensembles. Pembrokeshire Fish Week

Come along to this nine day long festival celebrating the best of Welsh seafood, spectacular coastline, award winning beaches, and fascinating maritime heritage. Wales National Airshow

Bring your friends and a picnic to the beach and watch the air show! The free Wales Airshow, sponsored by Swansea University, will be returning to Swansea Bay on Saturday July 1 and Sunday July 2 2017. Breath-taking aerobatic displays, state-of-the-art military aircraft and vintage planes from the past thrilled over 200,000 visitors in Swansea Bay last summer. At the event you’ll see displays by the Red Arrows, the Eurofighter Typhoon, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Team Raven, Tigers Parachute Display Team, the Bristol Blenheim, the Autogyro with many more other names set to be announced. The 4th annual Swansea Beach Soccer Festival will be returning to Swansea Bay on Saturday 8th July 2017! Entry fees for teams are low (10 per junior team & £20 per adult team). 54 junior teams & 6 adult teams can take part in this 5-a-side festival with a maximum of 10 players on each team - that means a whopping 600 players will get to take part & really bring Swansea Bay to life! Cardiff International Food and Drinks Festival

Part of the jam-packed 2017 Cardiff Festival, the Cardiff International Food & Drink Festival features over 100 local, national and international producers showcasing their goods. The biggest free food festival in Wales takes place in Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff Bay. Visitors can explore the stalls at the Producers’ Fayre; tantalise their taste buds with the delicious samples on offer; and buy a variety of food and drink, including artisan breads, organic cheeses and homemade liqueurs at the Farmers’ Market. Gower Show

The annual Gower Show is a full day agricultural show, this year celebrating their 100th year!

Mumbles Raft Race

The Mumbles Raft Race is a fun raft race to raise funds for the Mumbles RNLI. Hundreds of rafts will be battling to have the most fun while paddling from Norton to Knab Rock. Each year the raft race raises over £15,000 for the RNLI Charity. So head down to the Mumbles Shoreline at 5pm for an afternoon of fun, whilst enjoying the gorgeous settings of Mumbles. BBC Proms in the Park

One of the most popular events in Swansea Bay, at Proms in the Park you are guaranteed an incredible evening of great music, atmosphere, family favourites and of course, the traditional closing fireworks display. The BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the BBC National Chorus of Wales will be performing on the evening, as well a variety of community entertainment acts before the main event starts, linking up with the Albert Hall for the Last Night of the Proms.
