Kim Kardashian Breaks Down And Calls Out Kanye West Over His Lies In The New Trailer For "The Kardashians"

"I don't know how Kim handles everything with her ex-husband."

Kim Kardashian appears to be crying over her divorce from Kanye West in The Kardashians Season 3 trailer.

At the start of the trailer, Kim says, "I don't even know where we left off," to which the producer replies, "You were still in a relationship."

Kim pauses and asks, "I was?" before shaking her head and saying, "damn," under her breath.

A later clip shows Khloé asking Kim if she's okay, and she replies, "No, I'm not okay." And she breaks down and cries.

Here's the thing. The last time we saw Kim on Season 2 of The Kardashians, she was still in a relationship with Pete Davidson. However, he didn't appear in the episodes as promised in the season's previews, likely due to their breakup predating Season 2's release.

Throughout the short-lived relationship with Pete, we got a front-row seat to all the drama it stirred up between Kim and Kanye. So, it's fair to speculate that these tears in the new Season 3 trailer might actually have something to do with her divorce from the Chicago rapper.

Last year, Kanye made headlines for his offensive stunts like wearing "White Lives Matter" T-shirts and his antisemitic remarks.

I am curious if this new season will show us exactly how Kim responds to Kanye's 2022 behavior, especially since in another clip, Kendall Jenner says, "I don't know how Kim handles everything with her ex-husband." And Kendall's concern is justified.

The trailer also shows a moment between Kim and Kris Jenner, who says, "I don't think you realize the weight of the world is on your shoulders." A distraught Kim responds, "[Kanye] has made up the most insane narrative," possibly referencing the allegations her ex-husband made against her family during their tumultuous divorce.

Kim and Kanye finalized their divorce last November after six years of marriage, and according to Kim, she made an effort to protect his reputation for the sake of their children. But, has she done enough to protect herself?

Finally, in the trailer, Kim says, "We stay silent through all the lies for my kids," a sentiment that echoes what she stated on Angie Martinez's IRL podcast about protecting her family and avoiding publically retaliating against Kanye.

“If they don't know things that are being said or what's happening in the world, why would I ever bring that energy to them? That's like real heavy, heavy grown-up shit. That they are not ready to, like, deal with,” she added. “One day my kids will thank me for sitting here and not bashing their dad when I could," she said during the podcast interview.

Here's what I'm nervous about. I wonder, can they truly avoid discussing their relationship in detail during Season 3 of The Kardashians as they've done in the past? Her breakup with Pete and the divorce from Kanye during the new season's timeline can potentially spark a new set of problems between the former couple once it airs.
