Taylor Russell Shared Her Perspective On Finding Love In The Thick Of Rumored Romance With Harry Styles

Taylor Russell opened up about her outlook on relationships and finding love amid her rumored romance with Harry Styles.

Word on the gossip-ridden streets has linked the 29-year-old Bones and All actor to the 29-year-old "As It Was" singer, and the streets are not letting up.

In June, Tiktok user @ellahodgkinson shared photos of the pair spotted at the White Cube gallery in London, and the will-they/won't-they whispers began.

In July, the speculation of whether they were more than friends continued when a video of the pair walking around incognito in Vienna went viral.

Taylor was also seen dancing in the VIP section of Harry's concert in the city, in footage obtained by TMZ.

And now, amid the romance rumors, Taylor shared her feelings on relationships and how trusting people has become integral to her personal life.

In an interview with Lucy Prebble for the Face, Taylor shared, "It's been a big part of my life since I can remember, because I really want to live an open life and meet somebody and be real and honest and truthful with them."

She continued, "But I've found it increasingly harder to do that, and I'm trying to challenge myself in that way right now. My experience the past couple of years, [with] people I've really trusted, things weren't held in a way that I would've appreciated them to be held. And so, that has changed things in me a little bit."

Taylor jumped onto the scene with the Netflix science fiction series Lost in Space, followed by her breakout role in the 2019 Trey Edward Shults film Waves.

Keeping the romance rumors alive, Harry and Taylor were also spotted together again at the debut of the revival of The Effect at the National Theatre in London, according to E! News. And now, Taylor said her new move to London made her "open up and allow people" to know her better.

"I'm already a homebody," Taylor said. "If it's not for work, I'm not somebody who is going to be at things purely because I have anxieties in the ways that I do, in the ways that we all do, which is not unique."

And that evolved once she made her way to England. "Now I'm living in London," Taylor explained, "and when I came here, I was like, ​'You know what, Taylor, this is a new place. You're not in America, not in Canada. You have to open up and allow people to know you. You're going to be in a community of people that are going to be there for you. You have to allow them to know you.'"

"If something happens, something happens, that's life. You are going to be hurt — that's the tax. The tax on a real relationship is the reality that you will get hurt, you will [have] grief, something will be lost at some point, and that's OK. It's worth it.'"

"It's something that I'm having to remind myself a lot," Taylor finished.
