    Holidays On Whole30

It is easier than you think with a little effort!

How to stay on Whole30 on a Holiday?

It can seem daunting... impossible even, to stay on track while you watch everyone else stuff their face with bread and corn and sugar coated ham. I know the struggle. I am always the one asking what we will be eating, how it is made and all that jazz. And ya know what, that is okay! If your friends and family really love you, they will understand and want to accommodate you! But what if you are somewhere where you don't want to be rude, like I was today, and need to do your best to navigate the food they made. So, here are my tips on how to survive a holiday while on Whole30... or any "diet."

    1. Come prepared. Know what you are getting yourself into and know that people are going to be feasting around you. Accept it.

    2. Bring your own appetizer. I like these avocado deviled eggs: https://paleoleap.com/guacamole-stuffed-eggs/

    3. Be polite when you turn something down. It can come off as rude. Just know this and you are golden.

    4. Go for the simple foods. Potatoes are good as long as there is no butter. All meats are accepted. Fruit and veggies are good to go! Right there you have a well-rounded meal.

    5. Don't freak out! You may accidentally eat something with extra sugar. It happens. You tried your best and that deserves recognition.

So there you have it! It can be easy. Don't over complicate it. Just live your life and do the best you can. That is what living a healthy lifestyle is all about.
