The Revivalists - Wish I Knew You
Love it. From the opening guitar and wailing sounds to the first chorus, this one hooks you. It hooks you with the funky groove, guitars, and melody. The chorus is simplistic but catchy. Exactly what makes a hook. Is that a sax I hear? Wow. Rarely do you hear songs in pop music using that instrument and I must say it adds a welcome colour to the mix. I really do like this tune a lot and the video is as unpretentious and beautiful as the song is. Check it out. It will most definitely move your spirit.
