We Know Why Dr. Lapham From "Birdbox" Looks Familiar

She's not just your average Doctor

If you've watched the film Bird Box or at least the first ten minutes of it, then you've met Dr. Lapham.

Dr. Lapham is the doctor who attended to Malorie Hayes (played by Sandra Bullock) during her pregnancy, which was around the same time the supernatural entities, of which the story's plot revolves around, came into play.

And that's all good and well... but doesn't she look familiar? Maybe that's because you've come to know and love her as someone else...

Yes, that's right. Jess from Bend It Like Beckham, the girl who made us believe that we could do anything we set our minds to, was in fact played by the same actress that plays Dr. Lapham in Bird Box. This is Parminder Nagra.

Now, since Bend it Like Beckham, Nagra has gone to star in numerous films and shows, some of which being ER, The Blacklist, and Ella Enchanted.

However, if you're not familiar with any of those above, it makes sense as to why you were shocked and or puzzled when you saw this familiar face. Lets admit it, it's been a long time since we first saw Bend it Like Beckham
