I'm a huge fan of the Percy Jackson book series, but when the films were released I couldn't help but feel disappointed.
With the new TV series on the horizon, I feel compelled to point out the bits from the books the movie missed out, which NEED to be included in the show! Here are my thoughts:
.The Oracle giving Percy his Prophecy, or giving out quests... or both!
.The character's backgrounds, and scenes showing us their lives before coming to camp half-blood.
.The children's pact of the big three, and why it's so significant to their lives.
.I want to see the Three Fates have their own season, let alone a storyline.
.I'd also like to see storylines around the demigods not being able to cross over to other gods' domains.
.Grover's search for Pan, and his journey to save the natural world.
.Mr. D's character development and his secret loyalty towards the campers.
.I want to see more dream communication and visions while the campers sleep.
.Blackjack being saved from The Princess Andromeda and him becoming Percy's right hand horse.
.A detailed storyline on the recreation of Kronos.
.I want to see Artemis and her group of huntresses make an appearance.
.Bianca and Nico storylines.
.Tyson working for Posideon under the ocean, or some underwater action at the very least.
.The Ogygia Island and Calypso scene.
.Kronos taking over Luke's body before becoming his true form.
.The romantic relationships between the demigods.
.And last, but by no means least, the mist! It wouldn't be a Percy Jackson series without it.
Is there anything I've missed out from the books that you'd love to see in the upcoming TV series? Let us know in the comments!
