17 Moments From The "Percy Jackson" Book Series That The Films Forgot, But The TV Series Better Include

Self-proclaimed Percy Jackson expert right here!

I'm a huge fan of the Percy Jackson book series, but when the films were released I couldn't help but feel disappointed.

With the new TV series on the horizon, I feel compelled to point out the bits from the books the movie missed out, which NEED to be included in the show! Here are my thoughts:

    1. The Oracle giving Percy his Prophecy, or giving out quests... or both!

    2. The character's backgrounds, and scenes showing us their lives before coming to camp half-blood.

The entrance reading Camp Half Blood

    3. The children's pact of the big three, and why it's so significant to their lives.

    4. I want to see the Three Fates have their own season, let alone a storyline.

Three women with blue skin turned around to look behind them. They are all smiling, have ginger hair, old looking hands and bad teeth.

    5. I'd also like to see storylines around the demigods not being able to cross over to other gods' domains.

The gods in Percy Jackson sitting around in a semi circle, all wearing Greek clothing. Percy and Annabeth are standing in front of them much smaller.

    6. Grover's search for Pan, and his journey to save the natural world.

Brandon T. Jackson as Grover Underwood wearing a hoodie. He has small horns coming out of his head and he's standing in front of a wall.

    7. Mr. D's character development and his secret loyalty towards the campers.

    8. I want to see more dream communication and visions while the campers sleep.

    9. Blackjack being saved from The Princess Andromeda and him becoming Percy's right hand horse.

    10. A detailed storyline on the recreation of Kronos.

    11. I want to see Artemis and her group of huntresses make an appearance.

A statue of Artemis about to draw an arrow.

    12. Bianca and Nico storylines.

Hades in true form in front of Logan Lerman as Percy Jackson. He is surrounded in falmes.

    13. Tyson working for Posideon under the ocean, or some underwater action at the very least.

a CGI sea creature comes behind a scraggly boy wearing a light jacket, long messy hair and a backpack

    14. The Ogygia Island and Calypso scene.

Green water with a waterfall in the background. A tree with bright pink flowers blooming, and trees everywhere, considered Elysium

    15. Kronos taking over Luke's body before becoming his true form.

    16. The romantic relationships between the demigods.

    17. And last, but by no means least, the mist! It wouldn't be a Percy Jackson series without it.

Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth and Logan Lerman as Percy Jackson standing in the woods. Annabeth is holding a spray bottle called 'Mist'.

Is there anything I've missed out from the books that you'd love to see in the upcoming TV series? Let us know in the comments!
