Lately Shakespeare and Cocktails have been getting as cozy a fur throw in a ski chalet. With Drunk Shakespeare dominating in New York, Sh*tfaced Shakespeare taking over everywhere from Boston to London, and Boozy Bard and Bard and Bourbon dukeing it out in Milwaukee- it seems like there is a solid new trend happening in Theater and with alcohol.In honor of our eloquent, tipsy brethren I present to you this list of Bard Inspired Booze to guide you through your next night out.

This drink is perfect for making you forget who exactly your in love with followed by a pants-less jaunt through the woods. Mix up a few and get ready to get a little fairy-freaky Ingredients-1 1/2 cups raspberries, plus 6 berries for garnish -1 tablespoon sugar 6 ounces Scotch whisky - 6 ounces guava nectar or juice -1 1/2 ounces framboise (raspberry eau-de-vie) - Ice Chilled club soda - 6 small mint leaves, for garnish To PrepareStep 1 In a large cocktail shaker, muddle the 1 1/2 cups of raspberries with the sugar. Add the whisky, guava nectar and framboise. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.Step 2 Finely strain the cocktail into a pitcher. Pour into rocks glasses. Top each drink with a little club soda and garnish with raspberries and mint leaves. Serve.

Beefeater gin¾ oz. fresh lime juice¾ oz. simple syrup3 drops rosewater3 drops Angostura bitters3 slices cucumber1 mint sprigTiny pinch of saltTo PrepareMuddle cucumber and pinch of salt. Add mint and remaining ingredients. Shake vigorously. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with one mint leaf. Put one more drop of rosewater on the mint leaf and place three drops of Angostura bitters around the leaf.
