11 Clever Snacks That Will Make Your Kids Say "Yes, Cheese!"

I scream, you scream, we all scream for cheese! Snacktime doesn’t have to be boring. Make it fun with Mini Babybel.

1. Playful Penguins

Your kids will waddle away happy with this cute snack. Make a penguin pal on their plate using grapes, an unwrapped Mini Babybel, and carrots. Use one whole grape as the head, a carrot piece for the beak, a grape cut in half as the wings, and use a cut carrot round for the feet.

2. Flower Power

Give your kids the power of the flower! Place a Mini Babybel in the center of a plate and use a stick of celery for the flower’s stem. Stick pretzel rounds into the Mini Babybel to create the petals, and voilà — you’ve got flowers!

3. Nice to Eat You!

Create a fun face on a plate that your kids can customize. Make a face using broccoli for the hair, a Mini Babybel cut in half for the two eyes, red and yellow peppers for the nose and ears, and carrots for the mouth.

4. Silly Crawly Caterpillar

Make a fun slinky caterpillar using cheese, fruit strips, and green apples. Cut up the green apple into slices and use an unwrapped wheel of Mini Babybel cheese as the head. Cut two round eyes from the apple and one tiny round green nose. With the fruit strip, cut out the two antennae and feet.

5. Oh Deer, That's Good!

This snack will gallop off the plate and into your kid’s mouth. Unwrap a Mini Babybel and stick mini pretzels into it for the antlers. Cut a small sliver of cantaloupe for the nose and cut blueberries in half for the eye.

6. One-Eyed Purple People Eater

Create a spooky purple cyclops your kid gets to eat. On a plate, surround one unwrapped Mini Babybel and one orange slice with purple grapes. The purple grapes will create your monster, the cheese will be the eye, and the orange slice is the mouth.

7. Some Bunny’s Hungry

Your kids will want to hop on this snack. Make a bed of grass out of snap peas. For the bunny, unwrap a Mini Babybel and use two baby carrots as the ears. Use raisins for the eyes, a grape for the mouth, and cut out the nose from a baby carrot.

8. Buggin’ Out

Create a cute bug that won’t pester your kids. On top of an unwrapped Mini Babybel round, place a cherry tomato cut in half for the bumps, one cucumber slice for the wings, and two tiny pretzel sticks for the antennae.

9. Ladybugs in the Grass

Bring the park to the plate with these pretty little ladybugs. Lay three to four sticks of celery on the bottom of a plate. On top of the celery, place two red Mini Babybels and cover them with raisins for the “ladybug dots.” Be sure to peel the wax off before sinking your teeth in.

10. Gobble Up the Turkey

Your kids will be ready to gobble up this adorable turkey treat. Create a turkey using a peeled wheel of Mini Babybel cheese. Stick almond slivers into the cheese for the feathers, use a tiny piece of carrot for the nose, a slice of red pepper for the wattle, and add two mustard seeds or peppercorns for the eyes.

11. The Rainbow Snake

Your kids will want to slither up to these colorful kebabs. Create a rainbow snake using various melons and cubes of Mini Babybel cheese. Use a piece of fruit leather for the tongue.
