2. Virtual Pets

The three button controls for virtual pets were super limiting to gameplay. What if, instead, you could feed your pet by dragging food to its mouth, and pet your animal by tapping it on the head! That could make a digital pet feel more real.

5. Canned Foods

Opening canned foods are a pain! Sure, there are pop-up lids, but just think of the possibilities if we could have a top that opened and closed with a touch of your finger! It'd be magical. Camping would be so much better.

This would be the ULTIMATE college student meal. Just add water, touch, wait for 3 minutes, and voila! Instant ramen. This could be a perfect pick-me-up to a late night of studying.

8. Light Peg Designs

The worst part about this toy was the excruciating pain you got when stepping on the pegs with bare feet. If the lights were touch-enabled, that problem would be totally eliminated. Bonus: No choking hazards.

Wow. The user experience of getting chips would be magical. Imagine scrolling through endless amounts of snacks on a touch screen. What if you could arrange it by type of snack? Or alphabetically? The possibilities are delicious.

10. Temperature Adjustable Cups

So imagine this scenario: You poured yourself a cup of coffee in the morning, but you didn't get around to drinking it until an hour later. It's not the optimal temperature. If you had a mug that adjusted it's temperature by touch, this wouldn't have to happen.

Touch the mug to make it hot. Awesome! Touch the mug to make it ice cold. Cool! Why isn't this real?
