X-Men: Apocalypse will make its way to theaters at the end of this month, but to tide fans over until the big day, a thrilling fight scene from the film debuted online today.
The clip was released exclusively on Jennifer Lawrence's Facebook page.
It begins with Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) having a concerned look on her face as she waits for a brawl to begin.
Next, a locked chest is wheeled into the arena...
...and it's at that moment that we're given a better look at Angel (Ben Hardy), who's seen flexing his beautiful, gigantic wings.
Later, the chest is opened and out pops Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), who looks absolutely terrified to be in the arena.
The two mutants begin fighting and Nightcrawler is, unfortunately, knocked against the highly dangerous electric fence.
But thankfully Mystique comes along and uses her expert combat skills (and a bit of flirting) to elbow the guy controlling the fence.
Honestly, what would they do without her?
You can find out the fate of our heroes when the film opens on May 27, 2016.
