Youngest woman elected to Congress, red lip evangelist, and extremely pure Animal Crossing player.

In a YouTube video posted by Vogue recently, AOC outlined her morning skincare and beauty routine — and talked about the larger reasons she's sharing it all in the first place.

"I get questions all the time on my Instagram stories about my skincare routine and makeup,” AOC says in the video. “And the reason why I think it’s so important to share these things is [that] femininity has power."

"And in politics, there is so much criticism and nitpicking about how women and femme people present themselves," she says.

"There’s this really false idea that if you care about makeup or beauty or fashion, that’s somehow frivolous," she goes on. "But I actually think these are some of the most substantive decisions that we make — and we make them every morning."

On to her skincare routine: AOC starts with Estée Lauder toner, vitamin C serum, and Acure moisturizer.

She also emphasizes the importance of sunscreen — especially ones that don't leave a white cast — and being super generous when applying it.

"If you are at all a melanated woman, it's really hard to find sunscreen because a lot of sunscreens leave a white cast," says AOC. In the video, her go-to is Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence.

(She also gives a great sunscreen tip that I personally needed, which is to not forget your eyelids and ears!)

Then on to makeup: AOC says she’ll alternate between two different foundations depending on whether she expects a photo-heavy day or not.

For lighter days, she uses NARS tinted moisturizer — which she says is "less taxing" on her skin. For fuller coverage, her go-to is Estée Lauder double wear foundation.

She follows up with color corrector, concealer, and a Fenty Beauty contour stick.

She also gives a good tip in that she likes to set her contour a bit higher than usual on her cheek — because "when you blend it, it [will] fall a little bit."

Next is eyes: light brow pencil, eyeshadow from Tarte's flirt palette (with glitter, if she's feeling it!), and mascara.

Worth noting? AOC also perfectly freehands winged liner all while unpacking gender inequality and explaining the Pink Tax.

Last but not least: her signature red lip. She says the main thing she wants is something "indestructible" that'll last all day.

For her, that's almost always Stila's liquid lipstick in Beso.

AOC also talks about the origins of her red lip. She started wearing it while she was running for her House seat and talking to new people every day — and it stuck.

She realized a bold lip was a quick but simple way to boost both other people's perception of her and her own confidence.

AOC wraps up by kissing her pup to prove the red lip won't budge — then offers one last piece of advice: "The key to beauty," she says, "is feeling beautiful. And no amount of money or makeup can really compensate for really loving yourself."

"No matter who you are, there is something that you bring [to the table]," she says. "And that's the best beauty secret of them all."
