Everything Is Expensive As Hell — So Tell Us Your Grocery Shopping Hack That Has Actually Saved You Some Money

Prices have gotten too darn high, but we've all gotta eat.

Whether it's due to inflation, shrinkflation, greedflation, or who knows what else, one thing is clear: grocery prices are getting too darn high. So much so, that some folks have stopped buying items that they used to think of as staples because of the price.

So if you have a great hack, tip, or trick that's helped you save money on the grocery store, please don't hold out on us, and tell us all about it!

Maybe you asked the manager at your local store to find out when certain items tend to go on clearance. Now that you know that staples like canned goods usually get marked down every other Tuesday, you make it a point to go to the store at that time to stock up.

Or perhaps you've learned to avoid shopping from the middle shelves at eye-level. That tends to be where stores stock more expensive goods, because they're more easily seen. Sticking to the top and bottom shelves has really helped you find some deals.

Or maybe you always budget for one small impulse buy. You used to have trouble staying within the amount you wanted to spend because you kept on grabbing random but exciting-looking things. Knowing that you only get one treat per trip has made you more selective and helped you save some cash.
