You Have To Eat At These Ten Disneyland Resort Restaurants While You're On Vacation

Disneyland in Anaheim, California is known to have some of the best food around! From famous churros coming in all sorts of flavors, to amazing drinks and don't forget about the lobster nachos at Lamplight Lounge! These are the top ten places you have to eat at while on vacation at Disneyland Resort.

1. Lamplight Lounge

Formerly the Cove Bar, Lamplight Lounge debuted with the reimagination of Pixar Peir at Disney California Adventure. You're going to want to try to secure reservations to try out the full menu, including the donuts! But if you're more of an on-the-whim type person, or you couldn't get the coveted reservation, do not worry! Lamplight Lounge does offer walk-up reservations for the outdoor patio, which can vary in wait time but it's worth it!

What to get: Lobster Nachos and a drink of your choice.

2. Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

Right at the end of Main Street U.S.A., Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe welcomes guests into a cute little bakery with a Mary Poppins theme. The only thing you really need to know about is the Jolly Holiday Combo, which is a whole grilled cheese and tomato bisque! Because this is a quick service location no reservation is required, and they have a beautiful outdoor patio for view of Main Street U.S.A. and the hub area of Disneyland.

What to get: Jolly Holiday Combo with a Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron

3. Blue Bayou

Another much coveted restaurant to dine at is Blue Bayou located in New Orleans Square at Disneyland. Once inside guests are transported to the bayous of Louisiana, where traditional creole fare is served. If you're lucky you'll be seated by the water, where you can watch other guests get ready to go on an adventure though Pirates of the Caribbean!

What to get: Monte Cristo and a Mint-Julep (non-alcholic).

4. Naples

Located at Downtown Disney, Naples recently got a major renovation, making it a perfect place for your first night dinner, or just a dinner outside of the parks. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so be sure to take advantage of the beautiful California weather. Naples is bringing authentic Italian food to Disneyland with amazing pasta, and oven-fired pizza.

What to get: Gnocchetti and Quattro Formaggi Pizza.

5. Carthay Circle

One of the most beautiful restaurants at Disney California Adventure is Carthay Circle, which is modeled after the actual Carthay Circle Theater where Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered! Around every corner you'll find memorabilia and photos of Walt Disney. With a restaurant this glamorous, you'll forget you're at a theme park! The menu changes seasonally so there's always something new to be had.

What to get: Skuna Bay Salmon.

6. Carnation Cafe

Another restaurant on Main Street U.S.A. you must try is Carnation Cafe. This quaint little restaurant has a fantastic breakfast menu, where guests can get just about anything, including the famous Mickey Waffles served across Disneyland Resort. Be sure to ask for outdoor seating to fully enjoy Main Street U.S.A. while having a relaxing meal.

What to get: Mickey Waffles with Strawberry Sauce.

7. Corndog Castle

The quintessential theme park snack has to be corn dogs, and when they are hand-dipped in batter and fried when ordered, there really is nothing better. Corn Dog Castle can be found at Disney California Adventure's Pixar Pier. When you walk by, you'll instantly be pulled in. If you don't do hot dogs, no worries, there's also gooey fried cheese to be had!

What to get: Cheddar Cheese Stick.

8. The Mint Julep Bar

The one location people talk about the most on Instagram is The Mint Julep Bar! Not only are the treats here delicious, there's a perfect location for all of the photos you could ever need. The menu is small, serving Mint Juleps and beignets, but that's all you really need in life, right?

What to get: A Mint Julep and a bag of Mickey-shaped Beignets.

9. Storytellers Cafe

Character dining can take a huge chunk out of the day, but sometimes they are worth the wait! Storytellers Cafe at The Grand Californian is worth it! Be sure to grab a reservation for this one, and go in hungry. The options on the buffet are plentiful and super yummy! Breakfast here is top-notch and not to be missed.

What to get: Breakfast buffet.

10. Cozy Cone Motel

Straight out of the movie Cars, The Cozy Cone Motel is serving guests snacks out of five giant traffic cones! The options are great, but there are a few you must try on vacation, including the Bacon Mac 'n' Cheese from Cozy Cone 3! Snap a few photos and we won't judge if you get back in line for seconds.
