There's An Incredible VR Experience At Disney Springs, And You Have To Do It!

Hyper-reality is all the rage right now, and over at Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida, there is a super fun VR experience featuring your favorite Star Wars characters, and soon there's going to be a Wreck It Ralph experience. Here's five reasons you have to check out The VOID at Disney Springs!

1. The story line is impeccable

The VOID started creating these experiences with ILMxLab, which is Lucasfilm's immersive entertainment division. While creating the hyper-reality experience, story was important! For people to go through the experience and handle different tasks and be truly immersed was important. When you finish the experience at The VOID you feel like you've truly walk through a story where you were the star.

2. It puts you right into the action

The best part about hyper-reality is how realistic everything feels. From the moment you put on your helmet to the moment you take it off at the end of the experience, you are right in the middle of the action. During the Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, guests are shooting and carrying real blasters, walking on Mustafar, where they can feel heat and smell smoke. Everything you experience brings the the action to a whole new level.

3. You can do it with friends

The best part about The VOID is that you can do it with friends. These 30-45 minute experiences are meant to be done with groups of four. So be sure to grab a few friends, register online or in person, and have fun!

4. Currently they are running a Star Wars experience

Currently, The VOID is running Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, where guests are "transformed" into Stormtroopers where they are transported to Mustafar. The mission is to recover Imperial intelligence vital for the rebellion's survival. At the end of the mission, guests will encounter one of Star Wars' most menacing villains!

5. Wreck It Ralph and Marvel are debuting soon

The VOID is working with ILMxLAB to creative five new Disney IP experiences. The first two are in collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios and Marvel Studios. Ralph Breaks VR is debuting this Fall, and an untitled Marvel experience is coming in 2019!
