Everything You Need To Know About Toy Story Land At Disney World

Toy Story Land recently opened at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios and we're obsessed. Here's everything you need to know about touring the new land!

1. Entering Toy Story Land

The entrance to Toy Story Land is between Walt Disney Presents and Pixar Place (which is now closed to guests). You'll be welcomed into the land by Sheriff Woody and instantly feel like you've been shrunk down to the size of a toy.

2. Slinky Dog Dash

The premier attraction inside Toy Story Land is Slinky Dog Dash! This new coaster is somewhere between Goofy's Barnstormer and Space Mountain in thrills. Be sure to look out for the hidden Mickey in the queue. You'll also get a great view into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge from the top of the ride!

3. Sing-A-Long with Wheezy

At the end of Slinky Dog Dash Wheezy welcomes guests back into the load and unload zone for the attraction. Sing-a-long with him as he sings some of your favorite Toy Story songs, like "You've Got A Friend In Me."

4. Everything Is Instagrammable

Everything inside Toy Story Land is very Instagrammable thanks to the bright colors and oversized icons that are scattered throughout the area. One of the best spots is at the exit queue for Toy Story Midway Mania. The popsicle wall already has it's own instagram where guests in Andy's backyard are being featured every day.

5. Alien Swirling Saucers

The second new ride inside Toy Story Land is Alien Swirling Saucers. If you've ever ridden Mater's Junkyard Jamboree at Disney's California Adventure, you'll know what to expect on this ride. You sit inside cars with the Green Aliens swirling you around. The music for this ride is all made up of remixed Toy Story soundtrack songs, and is way better at night with the lighting effects!

6. There's no shade inside

If you're visiting Andy's backyard in the warmer months you're going to want to bring your own fan. There's little to no shade inside Toy Story Land, and a personal fan will be a lifesaver. You'll thank us later.

7. Toy Story Land is better at night

If you visit Toy Story Land in the daytime, you're going to want to make a return visit at night. The land glows with Christmas lights, and has a completely different feel in the evening. You should be able to do both new attractions in the evening without waiting too long since the crowd level seems to go down as the park closing time gets closer.

8. Be sure to check out the small details of Toy Story Land

There are so many small details that Disney Imagineering placed inside Toy Story Land that you could spend all day there and still never see them all. One of the cutest is that the return time for Slinky Dog Dash is actually on the front of Buster's collar tag.

9. Character meet and greets

Woody, Buzz, and Jessie will roam around the land and stop in various locations for meet and greet time with guests. For the official times each day ask a Cast Member or check out the character locater on the My Disney Experience app.
