Ingredients
1 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Olive Oil
4 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp McCormick Gourmet™ Thyme Leaves
1.5 cups Orzo Pasta
3 cups Chicken Broth
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Club House Ground Black Pepper
2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
½ Lemon, zested
Lemon Slices, to garnish
Preparation
1. In a large skillet over medium high heat, add butter and olive oil. When butter melted, add garlic, McCormick Gourmet™ Thyme Leaves and orzo, cooking until lightly golden, 2-3 minutes.
2. Add chicken broth, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil for or 3-5 minutes, then reduce heat to a simmer until most of the liquid has been absorbed, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
3. Remove from the heat, and stir in fresh lemon juice and lemon zest. Garnish with lemon slices, transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy.
