We Need To Talk About What Happens When You Shop At Michael's

Suddenly everything and anything is a crafting opportunity.

Every time I go into Michael's it's as if all logic is lost and I've convinced myself that of course I have a use for massive amounts of scrapbook paper and glittery felt.

First of all, no matter how many times I've been to the same Michael's location, I have no idea where anything is. Oh of course! Yarn is next to the discounted Halloween decorations........

Also, I'm pretty sure they save money by just hiring one person to work the entire store. There's only ever one employee, and they're working the cash register, so you have to wait in line just to ask where the planner stickers are.

Yet, despite all this, I continue to go back there. I'm lured in by the siren song of a 60% off frames coupon. Which I actually can't even effectively hang frames in my apartment unless I want to pay my landlord $10/nail hole.

AND STILL...I keep shopping there, and buying things, and leaving the store with paint and knitting needles and no idea what to make with it.

    Project, TBD.
