Listen, choosing to have a child can be a beautiful, life-changing experience, but it can also mean that everyone within a five-mile radius suddenly feels that it's open season to bombard pregnant people with inappropriate questions, half-baked advice, or just downright rude statements.
So I'm asking the BuzzFeed Community, "What's the worst, weirdest, or most unsolicited piece of advice someone gave you while you were pregnant?"
Maybe you're married with your first child on the way, but you've got some overbearing in-laws who have spent your pregnancy annoying you with their outdated advice because they insist they know more about parenting than you. Bonus points if they tried to tell you how you should give birth.
Maybe you had a nosy coworker who took your pregnancy as an excuse to probe into your sex life until you had to report her to HR.
Maybe your friend tried to convince you that you didn't need to go to your prenatal doctor's appointments, you just needed to buy some of her essential oils that are definitely not a part of an MLM scheme.
Or maybe they didn't say anything at all, they just came up to you and put their HANDS ON YOUR STOMACH WITHOUT EVEN ASKING FIRST!
