Former "EastEnders" Actor Missing With Her Two Children

Fears are growing for Sian Blake, who appeared in the BBC soap in the mid-1990s.

Police in London say they are increasingly concerned about a former EastEnders actor who has gone missing with her two young children.

Sian Blake, 43, was last seen on Sunday 13 December in the Waltham Forest area, having left her home in Erith, south-east London, with her sons Zachary, eight, and Amon, four. Her family have received texts from her since she disappeared, however.

Ms Blake is described as 5ft 2ins tall, with a slim build, and short black hair. She normally wears glasses but may be using contact lenses.

She and her children are still thought to be in the London area, but she does have links to Cambridge and Colchester.

Ms Blake appeared in 56 episodes of EastEnders as Frankie Pierre between June 1996 and March 1997. She has also appeared in Doctors, Casualty, and Skins.

A neighbour told the Sun that Ms Blake suffers from motor neurone disease, otherwise known as ALS.

"A few Sundays ago she came down the steps to her house and said she wasn't too good," said Sandra Metzgen. "An ambulance has been called out a couple of times too."

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Officers are increasingly concerned for Sian and the children's wellbeing and would urge anyone with information on their whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000 quoting reference 15MIS050346."
