Short, sweet, and effective
A PGS space should not drag for too long as it should be on point. At the same time, you want to ensure the EP truly has the time to think and reflect over what they want to achieve. Obviously if the EP wants to talk about more things and discuss you can keep it going, otherwise, remember this is a space for the EP to be able to understand their experience and what he or she wants and can get out of it, you don't want to make the EP see this space as a chore..
Always look out for resources you don't know of :)
Even if you have EPs who were unable to attend your physical OPS, this standard still has to be delivered in order for the EPs experience to be marked as Completed. How do you deliver a whole seminar though when its too late?!?!?! James the ex-oGET Boss has created 4 youtube videos going through everything to be covered in OPS. You simply pass those videos on to your EPs and track them to confirm that they watched them: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQNf-48xrkKGepFdzO8QnkvqwCM0Gz9Hr Its honestly the easiest way to complete Standard No. 2!!
Ensuring the safety of the EP is our responsibility as a Home entity. Same way we expect Host entities to pickup our EPs from the airport and provide them with VISA help, the Host entities expect for any EP that we send to be insured. Therefore, it is something we need to insist upon and ask proof to ensure that we are delivering our part of the collaboration.
Dum dum dummmmm
Once the Completed stage of the Customer Flow takes place on the 1st of August, any EP who has not been offered all of the standards from our side will have an Incomplete experience as noted on EXPA, which will have a very negative impact on the Quality of Service AIESEC UK is known to deliver. Therefore, it is crucial that we deliver all 3 standards before an EP goes on exchange, and if the EP is already on exchange, we need to deliver the standards before they finish their project.
We all dread it, but you can really learn to love it if you try!
Our relationship with Podio has been full of ups and downs.. However, things are getting easier with time as more data is added! It seems scary, but podio can be very useful as it shows you what you need to deliver to each EP at each stage of the customer flow. Similarly, it has a checklist where you can mark down when a standard is delivered, thus making it super easy to track where each EP stands and what things are outstanding Just go on an approved EP and scroll down their profile!
