Which Type Of Friendship Do You Tend Towards?

You want to go to the movies with your friend but can't decide on a movie. What do you do?

Think of a random friend you have. How long have you been friends with them?

What is the most important thing you look for in a friend?

Your friend tells you that they've been diagnosed with cancer. What do you send them?

Your friend accuses you of only being their friend because they're rich. How do you respond?

You tend to make friends with people because of their usefulness to you. You are either elderly or just enjoy pursuing your own advantage. Unfortunately, this type of friendship doesn't usually last long, so definitely try to make friends that you actually enjoy being around, just because of who they are!

Friendship based on utility

The friendships you tend to form are those based on your own pleasure, and you tend to make and break friends quickly as the things that please you are constantly changing. Although these types of friendships have their place, try to make friends that mutually want each others good so that you can enjoy longer lasting friendships.

Congratulations! You are a great friend according to Aristotle. You are a good person and the friendships you form are with people who mutually desire each others' good for the others' sake. This type of friendship is pleasing, long-lasting, and serves both people involved.
